Context/ROLE

• Senior .NET engineer combining hands‑on delivery, technical ownership and product thinking
• Work on card payments, payment orchestration, APIs and reusable platform services
• Empowered model: understand the domain, challenge assumptions, shape solutions with Product, Architecture and stakeholders

Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities

• Design and build .NET microservices and REST APIs for payment flows
• Translate business capabilities into service boundaries, contracts and implementation plans
• Modernize legacy .NET into DDD/microservices where relevant
• Ship and operate reliable services: observability, performance, incident/RCA
• Ensure security by design: auth, secrets, secure APIs, compliance
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated deployments and release quality
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards
• Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate delivery (coding, testing, docs, troubleshooting) with human review

Required skills & profile

• 8+ years software engineering experience
• Expert in C#, modern .NET (6/8+), ASP.NET Core
• Strong track record building RESTful APIs and backend services
• Experience in payments/fintech/banking or other high‑throughput, secure transactional systems
• Domain modeling and DDD; microservices or modular monolith experience
• Clean architecture, SOLID, design patterns; testable design and automated testing
• Relational and NoSQL databases; data modeling and query optimization
• CI/CD and DevOps (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
• Application and API security fundamentals (auth, secrets, secure coding)
• AI‑driven development:
  • Hands‑on use of coding assistants/LLM tools and engineering agents for requirements, coding, refactoring, test generation, documentation and troubleshooting
  • Human‑in‑the‑loop validation (reviews, tests, quality gates) and awareness of privacy, security and licensing constraints
• Clear communication in English, strong ownership and pragmatic judgment
