Job Description

14583 - .NET Application Architect (Onsite) – Tallahassee, FL
Start Date ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
  • Experience with IT architecture design, software development, database management systems, and systems integration in multi-platform environments (5–7 years);
  • Experience with Microsoft C#.Net, MVC, jQuery, and Responsive Design;
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server;
  • Experience with Oracle;
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure;
  • Experience with Visual Studio 2012 and later;
  • Experience with HTML;
  • Experience with Test Driven Development and Unit Testing methodology;
  • Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile development environments.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio;
  • Experience with PowerPoint and SharePoint;
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into Internet/Web architecture to achieve business objectives;
  • Establish and manage a formalized solution architecture for software application development projects;
  • Analyze assigned specifications and develop solutions utilizing appropriate Internet/Intranet/Extranet architecture processes;
  • Ensure proposed systems are fully compatible and integrated with current software, hardware, and existing operating environments;
  • Design and develop prototypes, system design deliverables, and application systems deliverables;
  • Oversee and participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developer team members;
  • Provide weekly progress/status reports and monthly timesheets of hours worked on assigned tasks.
