Be a force for good and take your NeStep with Nespresso

NeStep is a unique 12-month immersive experience at Nestlé in Switzerland for fresh graduates who want to learn fast, grow with purpose and make an impact. From day one, you will spend at least half of your time owning an impactful project, combined with structured learning and continuous mentoring to deliver meaningful results.

As a NeStep Talent in HR at Nespresso, your mission will be to help reinvent our onboarding and induction experience for new joiners based at our headquarters. You will bring our coffee heritage and WE CAN culture to life, creating a memorable employee journey that accelerates learning, connection, engagement and success from day one.

You will dedicate approximately 50% of your time to this strategic project and 50% to broader HR coordination activities. Working closely with HR Business Partners, the Talent team, the Coffee team and other cross-functional stakeholders, you will bring fresh perspectives and turn creative ideas into practical, measurable improvements.

This is your opportunity to learn by doing, grow with support and shape the future you envision for yourself and for the world around you.

How you’ll make an impact as a NeStep Talent in HR

  • Assess the current end-to-end onboarding and induction experience, including the Buddy Programme, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and employee experience
  • Redesign an engaging onboarding journey and develop practical onboarding tools that integrates Nespresso’s coffee expertise, brand heritage, customer experience and WE CAN culture across key touchpoint
  • Explore digital, AI-enabled and gamified approaches, as well as memorable activities such as coffee tastings, boutique immersions, factory visits and coffee masterclasses
  • Help create a measurement and governance framework to track onboarding effectiveness, employee experience, speed to productivity and continuous improvement
  • Support the HQ HR Business Partners on HR processes such as Performance Management, Talent Management and Global initiatives (Diversity & Inclusion, Mentoring, People analytics, etc.)
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports, People KPIs, presentations, and other relevant documentation
  • Partner with Employee Services (ES), Global Mobility and Recruitment Teams on HR administrative activities (e.g.: contracts, time management, etc.)

What will make you successful

  • A recently completed Bachelor or Master degree, ideally combined with previous HR exposure or an internship in a corporate environment
  • Project management, organizational and analytical skills, with confidence using Excel and PowerPoint to track progress, work with data and present recommendations
  • A proactive, curious and creative mindset, with strong attention to detail, autonomy and the ability to contribute fresh ideas in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the confidence to engage with different stakeholders, actively seek input and turn feedback into action
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning, while translating ideas into measurable impact and creating shared value

Eligibility criteria

  • Being a recent graduate from a Swiss higher education institution, with a bachelor’s or master’s degree completed within the last 12 months.
  • Swiss nationals, EU/EFTA nationals, or C permit holders only.

About Nestlé

As the world’s largest food and beverage company we are driven by a simple aim: unlocking the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come. To deliver on this, we serve with passion, with a spirit of excellence, offering products and services for all stages of life, every moment of the day, helping people care for themselves and their families. Our culture is based on our values rooted in respect: respect for ourselves, respect for others, respect for diversity and respect for the future.

We can trace our origin back to 1866, when the first European condensed milk factory was opened in Cham, Switzerland, by the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company. One year later, Henri Nestlé, a trained pharmacist, launched one of the world’s first prepared infant cereals ‘Farine lactée’ in Vevey, Switzerland.

Today, we employ around 273,000 people and have factories or operations in almost every country in the world. With our headquarters still based in the Swiss town of Vevey, we had sales of CHF 84.3 billion in 2020.

Our portfolio covers almost every food and beverage category – offering products and services for all stages of life, every moment of the day, helping people care for themselves and their families.
