NeStep is a unique 12-month immersive experience at Nestlé in Switzerland for fresh graduates who want to learn fast, grow with purpose and make an impact. From day one, you spend at least half of your time owning one meaningful project, combined with structured learning and continuous mentoring.

As a NeStep talent in Product Development at Nestlé, you will immerse yourself in the exciting world of innovative product creation. You will collaborate closely with project managers, ingredient and recipe experts, as well as sensory and consumer teams, gaining valuable insight into the product development process while building practical skills in a dynamic environment. How you’ll make an impact as a NeStep talent in Product Development

  • Supporting project managers and product developers in designing new cocoa-based products while building practical experience in product design and development.
  • Coordinating bench-scale and pilot plant trials to prepare product concepts for the next stages of development.
  • Designing prototypes, innovative formulations and product concepts that respond to consumer needs and market trends.
  • Consolidating and analyzing data from experiments and trials to turn insights into clear recommendations for next steps.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen your creativity, technical skills and data-driven decision-making in product development.

What will make you successful

  • Being a fresh Master’s graduate in Food Science, Food engineering, Food Chemistry or a related field.
  • Bringing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Being highly adaptable, open-minded and results-focused, with an innovative mindset.
  • Working with autonomy while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Communicating clearly and staying well organized in a dynamic environment.
  • Being fluent in English. French is a plus.

Eligibility criteria

  • Being a recent graduate from a Swiss higher education institution (bachelor's or master's degree completed within last 12 months).
  • Swiss nationals, EU/EFTA nationals, or C permit holders only.
