Nephrology / Renal Medicine Advanced Trainee

Northern Territory | Major Tertiary Hospital | Full-Time

Mediix Recruitment is currently seeking expressions of interest from IMG Nephrologists and Renal Medicine Advanced Trainees for an exciting opportunity with a major tertiary hospital in the Northern Territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for an international medical graduate (IMG) who has completed a RACP assessment, as well as Australian-trained doctors currently undertaking advanced training in Renal Medicine.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will join a well-established renal service within a major tertiary hospital providing specialist care to a diverse patient population across the Northern Territory.

The role may suit:

• International Medical Graduates (IMGs) who have undergone or are progressing through RACP assessment
• Renal Medicine Advanced Trainees seeking a comprehensive training environment
• Doctors interested in general nephrology, dialysis and complex renal medicine

The position offers exposure to a broad range of renal presentations, with opportunities to work across inpatient, outpatient and renal replacement therapy services.

Essential Requirements

For Consultant Nephrologists / IMGs:

• Medical degree recognised in Australia
• Current or eligible for AHPRA registration
• RACP assessment completed or currently progressing, where applicable
• Relevant experience in Nephrology/Renal Medicine
• Ability to meet the hospital's credentialing requirements
• Strong communication and clinical skills

For Advanced Trainees:

• General registration with AHPRA
• Relevant clinical experience in general medicine and/or renal medicine
• Ability to meet training and hospital requirements
