Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, new graduate or experienced, to join a highly respected neonatal practice at Lakeland Regional Health, one of Florida’s premier healthcare centers. Why This Opportunity Stands OutYou’ll practice in the only Level III NICU in the region, housed within a state‑of‑the‑art Women and Children’s Pavilion designed to support the most fragile patients and the clinicians who care for them. Practice Highlights

• Level III NICU with 30 private rooms
• Average daily census of 25 NICU patients
• Approximately 4,500 annual deliveries
• Attend high‑risk deliveries and provide coverage in a 30‑bed well‑baby nursery
• 24‑hour shifts, averaging 7–8 shifts per month for excellent work‑life balance
• Collaborative team of 4 neonatologists and 4 NNPs
• On‑site MFM support, pediatric surgeons, and multiple pediatric subspecialties affiliated with Nemours
• Exceptional new graduates encouraged to apply—robust support and mentorship available

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
• Minimum of a master’s degree
