At St Helens College and Knowsley Community College, a NEET Instructor/Keyworker role is to assist in the delivery of practical and skills-based training on College programmes and to participate in planning and reviews with the programme team.

The ideal candidate will provide Key Workers with specialist support and guidance to assist them with their caseload of learners in the development of their social, emotional and employability skills, enabling productive progression into further training or employment.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have experience of supporting learners with challenging or complex needs
  • Hold a relevant degree level 3 qualification.
  • Have experience of teaching, instructing and/or delivering interventions
  • Have GCSE Maths and English (A*-C)
