Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification majoring in Biology and Chemistry.
  • 3–4 years of proven teaching experience at secondary school level.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching candidate classes with good national examination results.
  • Valid Laboratory Technician Certificate in Biology and Chemistry (added advantage)
  • Strong practical skills and ability to manage laboratory activities effectively.
  • Good communication skills and a passion for student success.

AKES, T is seeking a qualified and dedicated Science Subject Teacher specializing in Biology and Chemistry to join our academic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Biology and Chemistry according to the National Curriculum from Form One to Form Four.
  • Conduct and supervise practical lessons and laboratory experiments related to both subjects.
  • Prepare students for candidate classes and national examinations with a strong focus on performance.
  • Develop lesson plans, assessments, and revision programs to support student achievement.
  • Maintain proper use, safety, and organization of the science laboratories.
