Our client, a leading Civils & Utilities contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in West Dublin The successful candidate will be working on a variety of infrastructure and utility projects, with a particular focus on NEC4 contracts This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a collaborative working environment.

To be successful in this role, the preferred candidate will have experience managing costs and contracts within the civil engineering sector, with a solid understanding of NEC4 frameworks and strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and administer NEC4 contracts across multiple civils and utilities projects.
2. Prepare and review cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation.
3. Monitor project costs and provide accurate financial reporting.
4. Liaise with project teams to ensure commercial objectives are met.
5. Conduct valuations, variations, and final account negotiations.
6. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
7. Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
8. Support procurement and subcontractor management processes.
9. Attend project meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Requirements:

1. Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
2. 4+ years’ experience in a QS role within the civils or utilities sector.
3. Proven experience working with NEC4 contracts.
4. Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial management software.
