Near Term Planner

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for creating and managing production schedules to meet demand while optimizing resource utilization.
  • This position involves analyzing production capacity, forecasting demand, and coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitors inventory levels and adjust plans as necessary to minimize disruptions.
  • As part of the Supply Chain Management organization, you will be responsible for translating the demand and market needs to the Product Supply organization to ensure supply is being prepared in accordance with the commercial region’s needs and priorities.
  • As Near-Term Planner you will be working in close connection with all functional teams within Supply Chain Management in Product Supply organization and Sales organization.
  • Be part of the global supply planning community, also having close collaboration with Regional Current Year Planners, Plant Planner and S&OE in your region and around the globe to ensure seamless supply of seed & a consistent supply message in the E2E supply chain.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field.
  • At least 4 years of related experience in business functions or any SCM lead role.
  • Strong communication skills include ability to influence peers and leaders.
  • Working effectively with teams and networks across geographic, functional and other cultural and organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to make tough and effective decisions in a fast-paced environment. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Background in data, analytics and knowledge in applied statistics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, team-based and matrix environment.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and Spotfire a plus.
