Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sales & Territory Management

  • Drive Revenue: Meet and exceed sales targets for the Near Patient Care portfolio (e.g., blood gas, glucose monitoring, and rapid diagnostic platforms).

  • Market Growth: Identify new business opportunities within the HSE, private hospitals, and community health districts.

  • Tender Management: Lead and contribute to complex tender submissions for business acquisition and retention within the Irish healthcare landscape.

2. Customer Partnership & Consultation

  • Relationship Building: Nurture deep relationships with key stakeholders, including Hospital Managers, Laboratory Directors, Point of Care Coordinators, and HSE procurement.

  • Solution Selling: Consult with clinical teams to understand their workflow challenges and develop tailored diagnostic solutions that enhance service delivery.

  • Clinical Education: Provide high-quality product demonstrations and in-service training for healthcare professionals to ensure the effective use of Roche technology.

3. Market Intelligence & Analysis

  • Competitive Awareness: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategic sales planning.

  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records and sales pipelines within Salesforce to support forecasting and territory reporting.
