The Role

SRG Global has immediate opportunities for experienced and dedicated NDT Technicians to work on-site in the Southwest region of Collie, Western Australia on a casual basis.

The role involves working alongside other SRG operational teams on-site, as well as liaising with supervision, both internally and client based.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out high integrity NDT and inspection work across various industry sectors, applying conventional methods
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide clear, concise and relevant findings
• Operate independently or within larger teams on short term assignments, shutdowns, major projects or maintenance campaigns
• Prepare and compile worksheets and reports
• Carry out regular cleaning, maintenance and calibration on all SRG equipment

The Successful Applicant Will Ideally Have:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in Alumina refineries (advantageous)
• Previous NDT Technician experience
• ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT, PT, UT, RT, ET (any combination)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to use programs to compile reports
• Ability to read and understand standards, procedures and drawings relating to inspection tasks
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen
