About the role:

As an NDT Quality Specialist, you will support non-destructive testing programs across nuclear and non-nuclear operations. You will focus on technical leadership, procedure development, certification oversight, and continuous improvement—not routine inspection work.

You will report to the Senior Quality Manager and be located in Ogden, UT. You will support this role 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain training, qualifications, and certification programs for NDT and dimensional inspectors

  • Create and refine NDT techniques, procedures, and inspection methods
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to Level I and Level II personnel
  • Help develop examination plans and written procedures for NDT activities
  • Maintain certifications and stay current with evolving technologies and industry practices
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and participate in required safety training
  • Oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot NDT equipment, automated systems, and related technologies
  • Implement work with quality and accuracy, documenting all quality-related findings
  • Collaborate to support operations, customers, and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) within nuclear and industrial environments
  • Experience to meet industry requirements for Level III certification
  • Certify to a Westinghouse-written practice aligned with ASNT SNT-TC-1A, CP-189, and ASME Section XI
  • ASNT certification not required; equivalent qualifications accepted
  • Knowledge of NDT standards, codes, and inspection methodologies
  • Experience in multiple NDT methods (e.g., UT, RT, PT, MT, and VT)

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $64,800 to $81,000 per year.
