Job Description
As an NDT Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out non-destructive testing activities that verify the integrity and quality of manufactured components before they reach our customers. Working closely with the NDT Supervisor, Quality team, and Production teams, you will help maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and product quality.
Your expertise in industrial radiography and other NDT methods will contribute to reliable manufacturing processes, accurate quality documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.

- Perform non-destructive testing using approved inspection methods, including Industrial Radiography, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI).
- Interpret inspection results in accordance with applicable codes, customer specifications, procedures, and industry standards.
- Safely carry out Industrial Radiography activities within controlled environments, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations.
- Select, prepare, operate, and maintain NDT equipment required for inspection activities.
- Prepare accurate, timely, and comprehensive inspection reports and supporting documentation.
- Maintain quality records and inspection documentation in accordance with project quality plans and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve inspection issues and support manufacturing activities.
- Identify quality concerns and recommend corrective or preventive actions to improve processes and product quality.
- Promote a strong safety culture by following established procedures and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support additional quality and inspection activities as required to meet business and customer needs.
- ASNT TC-1A Level II certification (or recognised equivalent compliant with EN473/ISO 9712) in:
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
- Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI)
- Industrial Radiography
Experience
- Experience performing non-destructive testing within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in quality inspection and testing.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable industry standards.
- Experience supporting quality documentation and inspection reporting.
- Experience contributing to corrective action or continuous improvement activities.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Radiography, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and Dye Penetrant Inspection techniques.
- Ability to accurately interpret inspection results against customer and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary manufacturing team.
Preferred Qualification
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification.
- Additional Radiographic Testing qualifications.
- Heat Treatment inspection knowledge.
- Experience within the oil and gas, heavy engineering, or energy equipment manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
