Job Description

Nidecker Group is home to some of the most iconic brands in board sports, including Emerica, éS, Etnies, Jones, Nidecker, ThirtyTwo and YES. With a legacy dating back to 1887, we are one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic players in the global snowboard, skate, and footwear industry.

We are looking for a hands-on, accountable Accounting Manager to support our Head of Finance in driving day-to-day financial operations and leading a distributed team across Switzerland and Asia. This role is central to delivering operational excellence across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Financial Close, while championing process improvements and strengthening financial discipline across the Group.

This is not a transactional role. We want someone who takes ownership, leads from the front, and makes sure things get done right and on time.

Tasks

1. Team Leadership & Operational Ownership

  • Lead, structure, and develop the AP, AR, and Credit teams across multiple entities and regions (Switzerland & Asia)
  • Set clear priorities, KPIs, and performance standards; ensure accountability and follow-through within the team
  • Act as the operational right hand to the Head of Finance, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution
  • Coach and upskill team members, addressing performance gaps proactively
  • Ensure strong communication and coordination across time zones and functions

2. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Credit Management

  • Oversee end-to-end AP and AR processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Monitor customer credit risk, payment terms, and collections strategy in collaboration with Sales
  • Ensure proper controls on invoicing, payments, and cash application
  • Review aging reports and drive actions to reduce overdue balances and improve cash flow
  • Ensure vendor payments are optimized and aligned with cash management strategy

3. Reconciliation & Financial Integrity

  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of sub-ledgers (AP/AR) with the general ledger
  • Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure data integrity across systems

4. Month-End Close & Reporting

  • Own and coordinate the month-end close process for AP/AR and operational finance
  • Ensure deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables
  • Prepare and review key journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Provide clear and actionable reporting (aging, working capital, cash flow insights)
  • Collaborate closely with FP&A on actuals vs forecast and variance analysis

5. Process Improvement & Systems

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, best-in-class finance processes
  • Drive automation and improvements within ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite or equivalent)
  • Standardize processes across entities and regions to ensure consistency and control
  • Strengthen documentation and adherence to internal policies

6. Compliance, Audit & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP (FER), VAT, and local regulatory requirements
  • Support internal and external audits, acting as a key point of contact for operational finance topics
  • Ensure audit readiness and proper documentation across all processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of relevant experience in operational finance, with proven exposure to AP, AR, credit, and closing processes
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams (ideally across multiple locations or time zones)
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting standards (Swiss GAAP FER) and VAT
  • Experience in a multi-entity, international environment is essential
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong Excel skills
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); French is a strong plus
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability and performance
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally

Benefits

  • A key role within a fast-growing, international group at the heart of the board sports industry
  • A dynamic and entrepreneurial environment where you can make a real impact
  • Close collaboration with senior leadership and exposure to global operations
  • Access to Nidecker pro deals and partner discounts
  • Snow Days, Company Ride Days, and a strong culture rooted in our mountain DNA
  • A collaborative and energetic team environment

About Nidecker Group

The Nidecker Group is home to the most innovative and inspirational board sports and lifestyle brands: Bataleon, Emerica, éS, Etnies, Jones, Nidecker, Rome, Thirtytwo and #YES.

We create, operate, and accelerate industry-leading brands internationally with one goal: to inspire and enable athletes to lead the progression of their sport. Founded in 1887 in the Swiss Alps and one hundred percent family owned, every generation has been fueled by a passion for innovation and board sports.

We began our story as master craftsmen, making wooden wheels and tables before moving on to sleds and cross-country skis. In 1912 we started manufacturing alpine skis, then water skis, monoskis and finally snowboards in 1984.

Today, we are the oldest board sports company in the world and have built highly successful brands, which have played an integral role in the evolution of every industry in which we’ve been involved for over five generations.
