This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our internal domain customers and the team.You’llbring strong technical analysis and stakeholder partnering skills, with an adaptable approach to business analysis. You will interpret customer needs and work with the team to select fit-for-purpose solutions that deliver value and measurable outcomes.

This is a full time, permanent opportunity based in Auckland or Wellington. It is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly.

What are the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?  

• Work as part of the team focused on delivering solutions for prioritised production issues and high-value enhancements for our lenders and supporting operational teams.

• Plan, estimate, coordinate andimplementchangeusing agreed analysis processes, designstandardsand tools.

• Translate technical information for the business and business requirements for technical teams to enable delivery of fit-for-purpose solutions.

• Undertaketimelyengagement and ongoing communication with key stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and expectations are managed.

• Support and contribute to the ongoing improvement of team practices

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? 

To work on BNZ’sstate of the artlending origination platform, supporting improvements that have a direct impact onourbankersexperience.

 What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity? 

The focus of BNZ’snCinodelivery is shifting from abankerrollout to uplifting its capability and banker experience. This role will be key toleveragingthe full potential ofnCinoas BNZ’s lending platform of choice.

What skills and attributes will this person have to be successful in this role? 

• 3+ years’ experience as a (Technical) Business Analyst, working with technology teams with a focus on lending solutions.

• Experience applying a tech feasibility lens to business requirements and creating technical specifications that can be clearly understood by developers to support solution delivery. An understanding of Salesforce core is essential; an understanding ofnCinowould be desirable.

• Ability to cope with differing priorities, work pressure and responsibility. 

• Experience defining and working with microservices and APIs.​

• Ability to build excellent working relationships with diverse stakeholders. ​​ 

• Good communication, facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills.

​Desirable

• Experience in designing Salesforce andnCinosolutions. 

• Experience inleveragingthe capabilities of AI tooling to support the analysis and design phase of the development lifecycle.

• Knowledge ofJIRA, Confluence and writing technical documentation. ​
