You will perform a variety of tasks which involve making The Navy Inn a home away from home for our valued guests. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer – our Military patrons and their families.


So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?

oResponsible for overseeing daily housekeeping and custodial operations for the lodging program.

oProvide assistance in handling customer complaints involving management as necessary.

oPerforms varying degrees of daily cleaning processes.

oMaintains a clean and safe environment for lodging guests and staff.

The Qualifiers:

oIs required to attend and complete mandatory training programs to obtain housekeeping certification and re-certification.

oThe incumbent is required to obtain a housekeeping certification within 120 days of employment.

oModerate physical effort moving furniture and the use of hand or lightweight powered cleaning equipment including the ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

oMust pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) Enterprise encompasses six business lines, boasting a workforce of more than 14,000 associates located around the globe.
