So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?

  • Provide excellent customer service to our valued and honored guests.
  • Utilize Property Management System to access guest information and retrieve reservation details.
  • Receive requests and process reservations within established guidelines
  • Receives and is accountable for a change in fund. Prepare close bank report and deposits cash receipts at the end of each shift in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform a variety of administrative:
    • Print various reports
    • Ran various reports
    • Answer phones calls
    • Trickster calls
    • Reply to guest inquiries and log calls

The Qualifiers:

  • One (1) year of general office clerical experience that demonstrated the ability to perform clerical duties satisfactorily.
  • One (1) year progressively responsible experience related to the position to be filled.
    • Study completed in a college, university, or junior college above the high school level may be substituted on the basis of one-half academic year of study for 6 months of experience.
  • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

·Be available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight and holidays.

The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) Enterprise encompasses six business lines, boasting a workforce of more than 14,000 associates located around the globe.
