Everforth ECS is seeking licensed Professional Engineers (PE) with distinct expertise in Naval Architecture and Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Structural engineering to work remotely. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
We are seeking licensed Professional Engineers (PE) with distinct expertise in Naval Architecture and Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Structural engineering to lead the technical design, development, and integration of commercial and governmental marine vessels. Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific Ship Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS) groupings, the PE will hold stamping authority, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive engineering excellence.

Specific functional/SWBS requirements include:
Structural Engineer (Naval Architect / Marine Engineer)
Focus Area SWBS Group 100 (Hull Structure), Group 200 (Propulsion), and Group 500 (Auxiliary Systems).
Responsibilities
Qualifications PE in Structural/Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture. Experience in lifting appliances, structural design, or hybrid propulsion is a plus.
Mechanical Engineer (Marine Engineer)
Focus Area SWBS Group 200 (Propulsion Plant), Group 300 (Electric Plant - Mechanical Aspects), Group 500 (Auxiliary Systems), and Group 600 (Outfit & Furnishings).
Responsibilities
Qualifications PE in Mechanical or Marine Engineering. Familiarity with CFRs, ABS, USCG, MARPOL, and SOLAS regulations.
Electrical Engineer (Marine Engineer)
Focus Area SWBS Group 300 (Electric Plant) and automated control segments of Group 400 (Command & Surveillance).
Responsibilities
Qualifications PE in Electrical Engineering. Deep knowledge of marine classification standards for electrical systems (e.g., IEEE 45).
Salary Range:
Systems Engineer III: 5+ years of experience. $80k
Senior Systems Engineer: 8+ years of experience. $105k
Principal Systems Engineer: 10+ years of experience. $120k
Chief Engineer: 15 years+, years of experience. $160k.
