MANTECH seeks a motivated, career customer-oriented Naval Administrative Assistant to join our team in Chesapeake, VA This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Overseeing daily office administration
Filing and recording Government specialized documentation
Converting and editing U.S. Navy and Coast Guard technical Documents
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma, or GED
1+ years of office administration or Naval business administrative experience
Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with office communication, written and verbal
Experience with Microsoft programs
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with Navy Maintenance databases, especially: Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP)
Experience applying redlines to XML formatted procedures in accordance with strict editing standards
Experience applying redlines to drawings in accordance with strict editing standards
1+ years experience being able to decipher redlines (changes) on technical procedures and drawings made by validators (other team members) who recently visited updated ships
Perform Quality Assurance checks on procedures and drawings to ensure compliance with editing standards
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship is required and a current Interim Secret security clearance or higher or ability to obtain Interim Secret prior to start.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
