Job Description

NASHUA, NH (NATIONWIDE SEARCH): A warm, first-time family expecting their baby in mid-August is seeking a loving, attentive newborn care nanny to join their home starting October 1st, 2026. Above all, this role is about love and care for their new baby, and the family is looking for someone who brings genuine warmth, patience, and dedication to that role. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 7/8am to 5/6pm. Mom works in an office nearby, and Dad works hybrid and is home for much of the week, so this is a household where a caregiver will often be working alongside an involved, present family rather than fully solo.Responsibilities center on all duties related to caring for the new baby. Helping with the baby's laundry and occasionally the parents' laundry is a bonus but not required, and light meal prep for the baby will become part of the role down the line once solids are introduced. Candidates should be comfortable navigating stairs regularly and comfortable around dogs, as the family has a golden retriever in the home. A willingness to travel and a valid passport are considered a bonus, not a requirement. The ideal candidate is up to date on standard vaccinations, including Tdap and MMR, has a clean driving record, and is comfortable driving the baby as needed. This is an educated household that values education, and the family is looking for a candidate who reflects that same thoughtfulness and care. The family is open to a nationwide search but is not offering relocation assistance at this time.Compensation is $30-50 per hour gross, commensurate with experience, and industry-standard 10 days of PTO plus 5 sick days.
