About the role

Due to growth, this newly created position has been created to manage multiple warehouses across Australia.

This position is responsible for the day to day management of the SA warehouse and the performance of 3PL operations interstate, and outbound freight management to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuring that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. The Warehouse Manager will play a vital part in the management team, and also contributing to the business vision of achieving a long-term, market leading and profitable business.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure the 3PL’s operate at peak efficiency by establishing mutual agreement of processes and resolution of issues and variances
  • Develop, plan and coordinate warehouse operations and manage Warehouse Management System software
  • Ensure the SA warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organising, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
  • Oversee team performance, goals and objectives; drive team engagement and morale through effective communication and continuous improvement
  • Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Identify, draft and submit specifications and conduct testing for system improvements across various software platforms
  • Oversee adherence to compliance, policies, procedures and relevant legislation
  • Conduct testing for continuous improvement changes in software platforms and our QMS

Experience required (including technical)

  • SAP S/4HANA and SAP WMS
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including excel
  • CRM
  • Warehouse management
  • People management
  • Proven knowledge in IT, WMS
  • Forklift license
