We have an exciting opportunity for a National Schemes Lead to join our Commercial Lines business and lead the future direction of our Commercial Schemes proposition.

The Team

👉 Our Commercial Schemes team works closely with broker partners, underwriting, pricing and distribution teams to deliver specialist propositions, strong customer outcomes and sustainable growth.

What you can expect in this role

  • You'll lead the Commercial Schemes strategy and trading plan.
  • You'll develop and grow a high-performing Schemes team.
  • You'll strengthen broker relationships and identify new growth opportunities.
  • You'll oversee portfolio performance, governance and underwriting discipline.
  • You'll use data, broker insight and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • You'll work across underwriting, pricing, claims and distribution to deliver commercial success.

What you might bring

  • Experience leading a commercial insurance, underwriting, trading, schemes or broker-facing team.
  • Experience developing broker relationships and driving commercial growth.
  • Strong commercial judgement and leadership capability.
  • Experience using MI and portfolio data to drive performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Relevant insurance qualifications such as Cert CII, Dip CII or ACII would be advantageous.
