Primary Responsibilities

The National Sales & Supply Analyst plays a critical role in connecting commercial plans with operational execution. This position supports the sales organization with accurate forecasting, performance analytics, and customer insights, while partnering closely with supply chain and demand planning to ensure strong service levels, healthy inventory, and efficient execution across Canadian retail customers. The role requires hands-on experience working with customer portals to support demand visibility, performance tracking, and issue resolution. Essential Functions

Forecasting, Demand & Supply Chain Support

  • Support the demand planning process by consolidating sales forecasts and customer inputs
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, service levels (OTIF), and customer fill rates
  • Identify supply risks, inventory constraints, and excess/obsolete inventory
  • Partner with supply chain and operations to align production, inventory, and customer demand
  • Support S&OP processes with data analysis and reporting

Inventory & Service Level Management

  • Track inventory levels, turns, and weeks of supply
  • Flag slow-moving, at-risk, or expiring inventory
  • Support mitigation plans for shortages, allocations, and customer service issues
  • Monitor customer compliance metrics, including deductions and chargebacks

Sales Analytics & Commercial Support

  • Analyze sales performance by customer, channel, SKU, and region
  • Support sales forecasting and monthly demand reviews
  • Prepare customer scorecards, KPI dashboards, and performance reports
  • Track promotional performance, distribution gains, and pricing changes
  • Support trade spend tracking and post-event analysis
  • Assist with customer presentations and internal sales reviews

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key link between Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service
  • Good relationship management skills both internally and externally
  • Ensure alignment between customer commitments and operational capabilities
  • Support new product launches with forecast inputs and supply readiness
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales analytics, demand planning, or supply chain within CPG
  • Hands-on experience with customer portals (Circana, LDIA)
  • Strong analytical, quantitative skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas; Power BI an asset)
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Familiarity with Canadian grocery and mass retail customers an asset
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but be able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities

The base compensation range for this role is $52,000 CAD - $78,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
