Your Role and Impact

The National Sales Manager, ProAV is responsible for leading ViewSonic's U.S. ProAV Channel business strategy and field sales organization. This role oversees a team of Regional Sales Managers across the country and is accountable for national revenue performance, channel development, partner engagement, talent coaching, and execution of strategic business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess deep experience within the Professional AV industry, established executive-level relationships among leading AV integrators, distributors, consultants, and industry partners, and a proven track record of building and leading successful sales organizations.

This is a remote leadership position with significant travel required throughout the United States.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the national ProAV sales strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, market share, and customer growth objectives.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Sales Managers, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture.
  • Establish annual business plans, sales targets, performance metrics, and strategic priorities for the ProAV organization.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Regional Sales Managers to assess performance, identify opportunities, and remove obstacles to growth.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key national AV integrators, distributors, consultants, buying groups, and strategic channel partners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Sales Operations, and Executive Leadership to align go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives.
  • Drive consistent execution of national account strategies, channel programs, partner enablement initiatives, and demand-generation activities.
  • Evaluate channel investments, MDF/ADF utilization, program effectiveness, and ROI to maximize business impact.
  • Identify market trends, competitive threats, emerging technologies, and new business opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Forecast revenue, manage pipeline visibility, and ensure accurate reporting across the ProAV organization.
  • Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain top-performing sales talent.
  • Support contract negotiations, strategic partner agreements, and executive escalations when necessary.
  • Lead participation in national trade shows, industry events, partner conferences, executive briefings, and customer engagements.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations teams to support budgeting, inventory planning, and operational efficiencies.
  • Serve as the primary ProAV business liaison between the field sales organization and executive leadership team.
  • Present business performance, strategic initiatives, and market insights to the Vice President of Channel Sales and executive leadership.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or related discipline required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience within the Professional AV industry.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience managing regional or national sales teams.
  • Proven success leading multi-region sales organizations and consistently delivering revenue growth.
  • Extensive knowledge of Professional AV technologies, including Direct View LED Displays, Large Format Displays, Interactive Displays, Digital Signage, Projection Solutions, and Collaboration Technologies.
  • Established executive-level relationships with AV integrators, distributors, consultants, and key channel partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute national sales strategies and channel programs.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, team-building, and talent development skills.
  • Experience managing forecasts, budgets, performance metrics, and business planning processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • CTS Certification preferred.
  • Passion for technology and creating exceptional customer and partner experiences.
  • Ideally located in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, or another major metropolitan area with close proximity to an international airport to facilitate nationwide travel.

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Office Presence: Remote home office (US based), with approximately 50-70% travel throughout the United States, including customer visits, team meetings, industry events, partner engagements, and corporate meetings.
  • Environment: Remote office environment with frequent customer-facing and partner-facing interactions across assigned territories and national accounts.
  • Physical Effort: Frequent travel and extended periods of presenting, meeting, and participating in industry events.
