The Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star is more than just the official hotel of the Dallas Cowboys, it’s the social hub for great food, fun and nightlife. This 16-story hotel features 300 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites and a range of meeting spaces to accommodate any sized gathering. From grand and junior ballrooms to intimate spaces and an elevated pool deck, Omni Frisco Hotel’s 24,000 square feet of meeting space provide endless opportunities for events.
This multi-use campus in partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, the city of Frisco and Frisco Independent School District features restaurants, retail space, entertainment venues and more. Omni Frisco Hotel is connected to The Ford Center, a 12,000-seat, domed, multi-purpose event center. The entire campus is anchored by the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, which houses office space and the practice facility for the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

To achieve monthly room night goals, develop and implement sales action plans, maintain positive interdepartmental communications and to complete special projects.
Responsibilities:
• Drive top line revenue for hotel by achieving budgeted room night and rate revenue goals
• Merchandise function space to maximize food and beverage revenue potential
• Prospect, solicit and develop relationships and accounts within assigned market segment
• Thoroughly qualify and present business opportunities to Sales Team
• Create custom proposals and answer RFPs in a timely manner
• Conduct site inspections by curating personalized experiences for prospective clients
• Assist in design and organization of unique client events, sharing creative and innovative ideas
• Collaborate with Omni Hotels & Resorts Global Sales Team
• Participate in daily business review meetings, monthly sales meetings and various trainings as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Expertly negotiate sales agreements
• Mentor junior team members in preparation for professional growth
Qualifications:
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have at least 3 years of group selling experience (convention hotel experience preferred).
• Strong analytical and researching skills to identify prospective customers.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and re-prioritize when necessary.
• Experience in outbound solicitation, site inspections/visits with clients, and contract negotiations.
• Strong customer service and rapport building skills.
• Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel as needed to represent the Hotel.
• Must have a flexible schedule to works nights, weekend and holidays as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sales or a related field.
