Join a well-loved and established premium Wine Brand: National Sales & Business Development Manager

Are you passionate about wine, sales and building meaningful relationships? Mollydooker Wines is looking for an experienced and commercially driven National Sales & Business Development Manager to help grow our Australian domestic business.

In this role, you’ll take responsibility for promoting, educating, selling and managing the distribution of Mollydooker wines across Australia. You’ll work directly with trade customers and distributors, develop new business opportunities and lead, coach and develop our Australian Sales Representative.

What You’ll Do:

Drive Sales: Take ownership of Australian domestic sales and distribution, working towards agreed sales and profitability targets.

Build Relationships: Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with distributors, retailers, restaurants and key trade customers.

Grow the Business: Identify and secure new trade customers and opportunities to grow Mollydooker’s presence in the Australian market.

Bring the Brand to Life: Prepare, attend and host wine dinners, tastings, events and staff training.

Lead & Develop: Manage, coach and develop our Australian Sales Representative, supporting their growth and performance.

Work Together: Collaborate with Marketing and Logistics to deliver an exceptional customer experience from planning through to delivery.

Know the Market: Stay close to sales performance, customer needs and market trends and identify opportunities for continued growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3 years of product sales experience, ideally within the wine or alcoholic beverage industry.
• Proven sales and business development experience, with a strong focus on achieving targets.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation and closing skills.
• Confidence hosting wine tastings, dinners, events and training.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
• A genuine passion for wine and enthusiasm for representing the Mollydooker brand.

Special Conditions:

• Travel: This role requires regular interstate travel to key markets, distributors and customers, including approximately monthly travel to NSW.
• Winery Attendance: You’ll attend our McLaren Vale winery at least once a week to stay connected with the team and brand.
• Events: The role will occasionally require work outside usual business hours to support wine dinners, tastings and other customer events.
