We are seeking an experienced and driven National Onboarding & Mobilisation Lead to drive a nationally critical function, lead a high-performing team, strengthen our collaboration focus, and deliver exceptional onboarding experiences that set our people up for success.

Reporting to the National Talent Acquisition Manager, this role combines leadership, operational excellence and strategic oversight. You will be responsible for leading a team of Onboarding & Mobilisation Coordinators, managing key supplier relationships, driving compliance and governance, optimising processes, leveraging technology and ensuring onboarding outcomes are delivered efficiently, consistently and at scale.

As the leader of this function, you will set the standard across Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, building a culture focused on speed, accountability, pride and collaboration. You will utilise data, reporting and analytics to drive decision-making, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the business is equipped to mobilise talent effectively and compliantly.

This is an opportunity to play a hands-on role in a fast-paced mobilisation environment, connecting this high-performing team with the Talent Acquisition team in delivery outstanding outcomes for candidates, hiring teams and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Culture: Lead and develop a high-performing national onboarding team, enhancing a culture of speed, accountability, pride and camaraderie while fostering strong partnerships across the P&C team.
  • Operational Excellence: Own the end-to-end onboarding and mobilisation function, supporting and improving efficient workflows, maintaining service standards and adapting quickly to changing business priorities.
  • Supplier Management: Manage key supplier relationships including medical, verification and compliance providers, ensuring quality service delivery, performance and cost effectiveness.
  • Risk, Compliance & Governance: Ensure all onboarding activities meet legislative, regulatory and company requirements, maintaining strong governance, data integrity and risk controls.
  • Technology & Continuous Improvement: Own onboarding systems and technology, driving optimisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and candidate outcomes.
  • Reporting, Analytics & Commercial Performance: Leverage data, reporting and insights to monitor performance, improve decision-making, manage costs and drive operational excellence.
  • Candidate Experience: Champion a seamless, compliant and candidate-focused onboarding journey that reflects our commitment to exceptional service and care.

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Human Resources, Business, Administration or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Relevant leadership experience within onboarding, mobilisation, talent acquisition operations, workforce planning or a related function.
  • Experience operating within fast-paced, high-volume and compliance-driven environments.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading high-volume mobilisation teams and building strong, engaged team cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience managing supplier and vendor relationships, including medical and verification providers.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, compliance and governance within recruitment, onboarding or workforce mobilisation environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proven ability to streamline processes and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using reporting, dashboards and data insights to drive performance and decision-making.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing costs, supplier performance and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on candidate care and customer experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on leadership and execution.
