About the role:

As our National Key Accounts Manager for Modernisation, you will be expected to build and develop strong customer relationships and proactively communicate with internal and external customers.

Reporting to the Head of Key Accounts, your role will be to identify modernisation opportunities with Schindler Key Accounts and to monitor and support complex projects within the regions This role coordinates and progresses these projects from an early stage through to profitable order intake, in cooperation with the Regions, by maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important building owners, property managers, consultants, builders and contractors. The role will see you partnering closely with Functional and Regional heads in planning, coordinating, and implementing business strategies.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel from specific client organisations
  • Management of existing customer relationships and maximising customer experience
  • Act as the interface between our customers and internal stakeholders to ensure resolution of any customer issues
  • Coach and mentor teams nationally to deliver a tailored customer experience to key clients
  • Develop and implement target project plans with the aim of increasing market share
  • Coordinate activity with Schindler Branches to deliver advice, guidance and Modernisation proposals to asset owners.
  • Respond to Modernisation pricing requests directly on time and relationship-critical projects.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong Experience in sales, marketing and operational management, ideally in the vertical transportation (VT) or similar industry serving the construction industry.
  • A degree or diploma in any marketing, building, engineering, construction or business-related discipline will be highly regarded.
  • The successful candidate will be solution-focused with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Previous operational, business development / key accounts sales and contract management experience, preferably in a Construction related industry
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating operational and sales requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
