The National HSQE Manager – Quality & Systems provides expert leadership and advice to ensure compliance with Civeo’s Integrated Management System and relevant legislative requirements. Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Safety & Sustainability, the role is the custodian and subject matter expert for key HSQE systems, ensuring accurate, timely, and high‑quality information supports safe and effective operations.

As a key member of the HSQE leadership group, this role works closely with Senior HSQE Managers, operational leaders, Legal, and People & Culture to deliver scalable, compliant, and continuous improvement outcomes across national operations.

The position is office based with flexible work arrangements and occasional interstate & site travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as system owner and SME for MyOSH, including leadership of the migration to MyOSH Viking
  • Oversee and maintain the HSQE Dashboard, ensuring accurate data, meaningful insights, and timely reporting
  • Provide governance and oversight of In‑Vehicle Monitoring Systems
  • Manage and control CCTV access requests, ensuring compliance with privacy and legislative obligations
  • Support HSQE system reporting and integrations
  • Lead and coordinate ISO certification audits (ISO 45001, ISO 9001) and support additional certifications as required
  • Own document control, ensuring version control, accessibility, and scheduled review of HSQE documentation
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of incident and non‑conformance reporting
  • Lead change management for the introduction of new HSQE systems and tools

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in WHS
  • Lead Auditor qualification
  • ICAM certification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Desirable)

Experience

  • Demonstratable experience in a senior HSQE or quality systems role, ideally within the resources or operational sectors
  • Extensive experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 accreditation and audit
  • Proven experience managing HSQE systems, dashboards, reporting, and document control
  • Preparing and delivering training programs
  • Experience at a commercial management level working closely with operational leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders on change initiatives
  • Experience preparing and delivering HSQE management reports
  • Exposure to food safety, ISO 22000 or HACCP (Desirable)

Skills

  • Strong systems capability and IT literacy, with confidence working across multiple digital platforms
  • Myosh or Myosh Viking HSQE management system experience highly advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Disciplined, diligent, and methodical approach to work
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently
  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships at all levels
