About Kolomoni Kolomoni Microfinance Institution (Gambia) is a microfinance institution licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of The Gambia. We are a subsidiary of CapitalSage Holdings, a Nigerian-founded conglomerate, operating across fintech, agribusiness, FMCG, healthcare and export trading, with a presence in multiple African countries and global markets. We exist for the part of the market formal banking has largely passed over: traders, agents, merchants, MSMEs and ordinary earners who run real economic activity without a bank behind them. We serve them through personal banking and wallets, business banking, corporate and ecosystem payments, agency banking and merchant acceptance — delivered through a growing branch and service-centre network and the field teams behind it. We are in a build phase. The structure, the propositions and the standards are being set now, by the people joining now. About the role This is the role that builds and runs our national distribution: the service-centre network, the Area Council Managers who lead it, and the field force underneath them. You will decide where we deploy, how many, and to what standard — and you will be accountable for whether every Area Council delivers the same commercial, service and control outcome, not just the easy ones. It is a travelling job. The network is run from the field, not from Head Office. What you will do Develop and execute the national distribution and service-centre plan. Set location targets, resource allocation, coverage priorities and productivity standards. Lead and coach the Area Council Managers, and hold each to a complete location scorecard. Coordinate recruitment, training, certification, deployment and performance review of field teams with HR and the functional managers. Ensure consistent service-centre procedures, customer experience, asset security and reporting across every location. Review market maps, route plans, field activity, acquisition quality and conversion performance. Reallocate resources and recommend expansion on density, demand, productivity, unit economics and control readiness — not on request. Coordinate field dependencies with Business Portfolio, Operations, POS & Hardware, Cards, Credit, Risk and Finance. Escalate material commercial, service, people, safety and control issues, and track remediation to close. Requirements What we are looking for A first degree in business, banking, finance, marketing, operations or a related discipline. Seven or more years in national sales, banking distribution, agency banking, retail operations or field-force management. At least three of those years managing multiple locations or territories — not one large one. Working knowledge of distribution strategy, service-centre operations, field-force economics, customer acquisition, performance management, and operational risk and asset controls. People leadership at distance, resource allocation under constraint, coaching, commercial judgement, operational discipline, and genuine readiness to travel.
