Independence Requirement: Candidates must qualify as an independent director and must not have been employed by WoodmenLife within the past three years. At the time of acceptance to the Board, it is preferred that the new member be willing and eligible to serve for the complete term of the open position. Board members are also encouraged to participate in various WoodmenLife community outreach activities throughout the nation to become fully engaged with our membership.
What You’ll Do:
• Provide governance level oversight and guidance to management on key strategic and operational decisions
• Bring a fresh perspective that strengthens Board deliberations and decision making
• Support WoodmenLife’s commitment to responsible growth, innovation, and service to members
