This position is HYBRID in Irving, TX. Please only apply if you live in the Irving or Dallas, TX areas.
Position Summary:
Provide operational service management and improvements for the Everon Technology Services Group through planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing aspects of service related projects. Manage small to moderate size initiatives. The NA Service Specialist is responsible during a task or initiative timeframe for determining needs and scheduling people and resources effectively. The NA Service Specialist will appropriately plan and schedule work and manage requests to ensure completion of scope on-time, within budget, and with quality. The NA Service Specialist will engage in the appropriate customer interactions and engage other stakeholders as needed for customer interactions and provide appropriate communications. The NA Service Specialist will be required to handle multiple tasks and initiatives at any given time, all with varying schedules, scopes of work, staffing levels, and requirements.
This position will work closely with other groups such as Field Operations, Account Managers, Engineering, Subcontractor Management, Technical Support, General Contractors, Sales and other groups as needed.
Duties:
- Effectively plan, execute, monitor, and close service related projects using principles, methods, and standard techniques that are appropriate for the specific project.
- Proactively communicates requirements to stakeholders as and when required and maintains accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.
- Proactively communicates updates, change proposals and related activities on a regular basis with customer and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Develop appropriate planning documents including, scope documents, SOW’s, execution playbooks, etc. Reviews requirements to determine scope, effort, schedule, time frame, funding requirements, , allotment of available resources to various phases of jobs, and metrics.
- Develop appropriate responsibilities such as a communications plan, quality assurance plan, resource plan, procurement plan, deployment plan, etc.
- Identifies potential job risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and service deadlines.
- Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, services and controls necessary for timely and cost-effective completion of jobs within budget.
- Establish job milestones and analyze costs; utilizes financial systems to review actual versus estimated job cost and to provide timely and accurate job cost reports; identify reasons for low job site productivity and determine impact on thejob; adjusts or corrects plans and/or cost estimates as necessary to meet financial goals.
- Manage the Monitoring and Controlling aspects of a job including issue/risk identification and resolution, change management, reporting and internal/external communication, financial management, metrics, etc.
- Identify, document, and prioritize change requests and facilitate approval process. Re-plan as necessary based on changes.
- Ensure effective Quality Assurance/Quality Control mechanisms are in place and adhered to.
- Engage with NA Install teams to ensure propert handoff of information related to assigned accounts
- Follow-up and report on key metrics including customer satisfaction.
- Generate new techniques, ideas and solutions that can improve delivery quality, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. Identifies lessons learned and shares with organization.
- Support other groups as needs arise.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Engage in continued education with applicable courses, trainings, and/or certifications.
- Prepare formal correspondence in response to customer’s questions or concerns. Handle escalated customer calls as needed.
- Review and become knowledgeable of applicable customer contracts.

- Knowledge of sales, installation, billing, and monitoring systems which assist managing National Accounts.
- Intermediate level of history of Project Management leadership including leading multiple simultaneous projects.
- Intermediate skills in the application of Project Management fundamentals, methodologies, and tools.
- Basic Domain knowledge/expertise in the commercial security industry
- Intermediate MS Office and Project skills.
- Maintain knowledge of industry and company operations.
- Upgrade and/or enhance supervisory skills by participating in available classes, training, and seminars continuously.
- Ability to travel as required. Less than 10% expected travel.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2+ years of relevant experience in the security industry (or equivalent)
- Associates degree recommended
- Alternative combination of education and experience.
- Basic electronic security industry knowledge
- CSPM or PMP certification recommended
