Job Description

Our client is looking for a National Account Executive who will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with large, nationwide clients, managing their moving needs, and driving significant revenue for the moving company by securing high-volume contracts and overseeing their successful execution across multiple locations, often requiring strong negotiation skills, deep understanding of the moving industry, and the ability to build trust with key decision-makers at large corporations.

Key responsibilities:

Client Acquisition and Relationship Building: Identify potential large national clients, initiate contact, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their moving needs and present customized solutions.

Sales Cycle Management: Conduct needs assessments, develop detailed proposals, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and close large-scale moving contracts.

Account Management: Manage a portfolio of national accounts, ensuring smooth execution of moves, addressing customer concerns, and proactively identifying opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.

Strategic Planning: Develop account plans with clear sales targets, identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts, and analyze market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to national clients, including resolving issues, managing expectations, and maintaining open communication throughout the moving process.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams like operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless move coordination and client satisfaction.

Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, moving best practices, and competitor landscape to provide informed solutions to clients.

Required Skills:

Sales Acumen: Proven track record of success in complex sales cycles, strong negotiation skills, and ability to close large deals.

Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with high-level executives and foster long-term client partnerships.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present proposals, address client concerns, and provide clear updates.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify market trends, and develop strategic account plans.

Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple large-scale moves simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and adherence to client specifications.

Typical Background:

Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or related field

Proven experience in a sales role within the moving industry, preferably with a focus on national accounts.

Deep understanding of the moving process, including regulations, pricing structures, and service offerings

Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
