Job Category: SalesInterMetro Industries is seeking a National Account Representative for the Commercial Products division within our Sales Department.
The National Account Representative - Commercial Products drives profitable revenue growth across 3–5 assigned national accounts in the Lab and
Electronics segment by building senior-level customer relationships, partnering with field sales Territory Managers (TMs) and distributor sales representatives,
and increasing end-user awareness and conversion.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage relationships with the assigned national accounts in partnership with field sales TMs, engaging key stakeholders including category managers, buyers, sales leaders, marketing, operations, and analytics teams.
• Develop and maintain 1-, 3-, and 5-year account strategies for each assigned account, aligned to Metro’s corporate strategy and growth targets.
• Execute Metro’s strategy at each account using available enablement mechanisms (e.g., promotions, e-commerce, marketing, catalogs, sales flyers, and training) to drive profitable growth.
• Coordinate and communicate necessary account information to Metro Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), TMs, and independent sales representatives to support local execution.
• Attend and coordinate Metro’s participation in national account annual sales meetings and/or trade shows.
• Deliver recurring training and communications to the sales force and internal support teams to ensure consistent execution for assigned national accounts.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with each national account, including channel marketing; coordinate biannual touchpoints with the Director.
• Present account progress and current action plans in internal QBRs, and complete required monthly reporting for points of review (PORs).
• Partner bi-weekly with Marketing, Channel Program Managers, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations to maintain a cohesive account strategy and resolve execution issues.
• Assists in planning, monitoring, and/or managing budget in functional area of department.
• Employee: Possess knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics. Contribute to a workplace environment that is conducive to the maintenance of the Code. Remain alert and sensitive to situations that could result in actions by an employee that are illegal, unethical, in violation of the Code or the policies and procedures that support the Code. Report actual or perceived violations of the Code or Company policies and procedures for appropriate action.

QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field
Work

Experience: A minimum of five years’ relevant work experience is required.
