The Role:
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven National Account Manager to lead key accounts in Ireland. This role is accountable for driving sustainable growth of AB InBev’s premium and super-premium portfolio through our distribution partners and key customers.
The successful candidate will partner closely with the Country Manager, Commercial leadership team, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver channel strategies, unlock growth opportunities, and ensure best-in-class execution.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder influence, and a relentless focus on results.
Role Location:
Dublin-based
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across Ireland as required
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
Develop and deliver integrated channel strategies aligned to overall Ireland business objectives
Translate strategy into clear annual/joint business plans (JBPs) with distribution partners and key accounts
Identify growth levers across distribution, rate of sale, premiumisation, and activation
Continuously assess market trends, competitor activity, and channel dynamics to adapt plans
Customer & Partner Management
Own senior relationships with distribution partners and/or key national customers across channels
Lead joint planning routines, performance reviews, and growth initiatives
Challenge the status quo and proactively identify opportunities to unlock value
Negotiate effectively to deliver win-win commercial outcomes
Where applicable, lead and develop direct/indirect reports supporting account execution
Commercial Ownership
Full accountability for sales, Net Revenue, and profitability across assigned accounts
Manage and optimise trade investment to maximise ROI
Support partners in achieving full ledger and category growth targets
Lead core commercial routines:
Budgeting & forecasting
Margin and investment tracking
Commercial modelling
Volume and revenue delivery
Execution & Activation
Ensure best-in-class execution
Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Brand teams to deliver impactful activation plans
Leverage experiential and in-outlet activity to build brand equity and consumer connection
Drive availability, visibility, and advocacy across priority SKUs
Stakeholder Management
Lead a virtual cross-functional team across Category, Supply, Finance, Trade Marketing, and Brand
Build strong internal and external networks to accelerate delivery
Act as a culture carrier and ambassador for AB InBev
Influence senior stakeholders both internally and within partner organisations
Who We’re Looking For:
Proven National/Key Account Management experience with strong commercial delivery
Experience across On Trade, Off Trade, or both channels (FMCG/drinks preferred)
Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
Data-driven with ability to translate insights into action
Experience managing budgets, P&L, and trade investment
High levels of ownership, resilience, and entrepreneurial mindset
Passion for the beer industry and consumer trends
