Location: Southern California base, national coverage
Travel: 50–60%
Compensation: Base salary $125,000 + commissions
About the Role
We are seeking a high-impact National Sales Manager, Strategic Fitness to drive growth across key health club and retail fitness accounts nationwide. This role is responsible for developing and expanding strategic partnerships, building relationships with top-tier end users, and delivering revenue and gross profit targets across a defined portfolio.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping sales strategy, influencing key industry stakeholders, and representing an innovative product line within the fitness and wellness space.
Key Responsibilities
• Cultivate and expand relationships with strategic national accounts in the health club, fitness, and wellness markets
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with key end users and enterprise clients
• Partner with Regional Sales Directors to meet or exceed sales, revenue, and gross profit goals
• Build strong relationships with architects, designers, and industry influencers to drive product specification
• Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and sales/marketing initiatives
• Oversee key projects from project initiation through delivery, installation, and ongoing maintenance
• Lead and support the development of sales tools, presentations, and promotional materials
• Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events
• Provide semi-annual sales forecasts and insights for strategic accounts
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5–7 years of outside sales experience, ideally within flooring, construction materials, or related industries
• Strong experience selling into health clubs, fitness chains, or retail fitness environments
• Proven track record managing national accounts and complex sales cycles
• Solid understanding of business operations, financial drivers, and customer needs
• Experience working with product marketing and distribution channels
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred
• Willingness to travel 50–60% nationally
