About the Role

Work Location: Hybrid (3 days in the Atlanta office, 2 days remote)

As a National Account Manager, Grocery, you will play a key role in a fast-growing consumer products company, gaining exposure to all facets of the business while partnering with some of the largest retailers in the housewares industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, strategic sales leader with a collaborative mindset and a passion for building strong customer partnerships in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

This role is responsible for managing key national retail accounts within the Grocery channel, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and executing strategic business plans that align with company objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage strong analytical, relationship management, and cross-functional skills to identify opportunities, deliver impactful business insights, and help shape the long-term success of the brand and its retail partnerships.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Manage the day-to-day operations and execution of assigned national retail accounts to support sales growth and customer satisfaction.

? Support account planning and execution through assortment management, promotional

coordination, pricing updates, item setup, merchandising support, and ongoing account

maintenance.

? Maintain strong relationships with retail partners and serve as a key point of contact for

customer needs, requests, and issue resolution.

? Monitor sales performance, POS data, inventory levels, and customer trends to identify

opportunities and support business decisions.

? Prepare and support customer meetings, line reviews, business updates, and promotional

planning activities.

? Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure accurate execution of customer programs and

initiatives.

? Assist in forecasting, order management, and communication of customer expectations to

internal teams to support operational alignment and account success.

? Analyze sales reports, competitive activity, and customer performance metrics to provide

actionable insights and recommendations.

? Ensure timely and accurate management of retailer portals, reporting systems, promotional

calendars, and customer documentation.

? Support the successful execution of product launches, marketing initiatives, and retail programs across assigned accounts.

stakeholders and external retail partners.

identify opportunities, solve problems, and make sound business decisions with limited

oversight. Able to challenge assumptions and drive strategic thinking when necessary.

? Collaborative: Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships across Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, & Product Development teams, while fostering productive relationships with national retail customers and external partners.

? Flexible: Adapt quickly to changing business priorities, customer needs, and market conditions while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and focus on delivering results.

? A Self-Starter: Exhibit a high degree of initiative, resiliency, and leadership with the ability to

manage priorities independently and execute against ambitious business goals.

? Experienced: Possess strong experience in national account management, sales planning,

category management, and data analysis. Experience utilizing syndicated data sources and

retailer POS reporting tools such as Circana, or retailer-specific reporting systems is preferred.

? Confident: Comfortable leading customer conversations, presenting business reviews,

negotiating opportunities, and adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.

? A Multi-Tasker: Effectively manage multiple accounts, projects, timelines, and cross-functional initiatives simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.

? A Communicator: Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience

creating impactful customer-facing presentations and business reviews.

? Technically Proficient: Skilled in analyzing sales data, forecasting, reporting, and leveraging CRM systems, and retailer portals to support strategic decision-making and account growth.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

? Bachelor’s degree required.

? 6–8 years of sales experience, including proven success managing national retail accounts and driving strategic business growth.

? Strong relationship management skills with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver

results.

? Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data, forecast business trends, and translate customer

insights into actionable strategies.

? Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and consistent drive for

results.

? Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability

to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

? Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, along with

experience navigating retailer portals and reporting systems.

? Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate data and

insights clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

? Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.

? Goal-oriented with a track record of delivering against sales objectives, customer expectations, and business priorities.
