About Our Opportunity
Machine Operator position on 1st shift in the Napkins Department.
PRIMARY DUTY
Effectively operates and monitors machines in production department.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
•Starts, stops, and clears jams from the equipment.
•Changes labels or wrapper film as needed.
•Maintains product quality.
•Accurately completes required paperwork and cycle counts.
•Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
•A commitment to company-wide quality and safety is required.
•Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Other duties may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
•Ability to work as a team leader.
•Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast paced distribution environment.
•Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
•Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
•Ability to perform basic math
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
•Continued education preferred.
•1 year prior experience and/or training in the distribution/manufacturing environment preferred.
