Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem shifts available

About the Role

Napa Valley Care Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide direct, compassionate nursing care to our residents and lead the day-to-day work of our nursing assistants. If you're a licensed nurse who wants to make a real difference in a supportive, team-oriented long-term care environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct nursing care and supervise CNAs/nursing assistants on your shift
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Complete accurate charting, documentation, and care plan reviews
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents following facility procedures
  • Take vitals, collect specimens, and monitor resident health status
  • Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Lead by example — train, mentor, and support nursing staff
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and infection-control-compliant unit

What We're Looking For

  • Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in California
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs and stay on your feet during shifts
  • Experience with PCC (PointClickCare) a plus
  • A caring, patient, team-first attitude
