Job Description

Location: Hingham, MA
Compensation: $30–$35/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: Late August / early September

A family in Hingham, MA is seeking for someone to care for their three children and keep the household running smoothly. The children — 4-year-old twins and a 7-year-old — are all in school, so the role blends afternoon childcare with hands-on household management. The ideal candidate is energetic, takes initiative, and is comfortable being active outdoors with the children year-round.

Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive childcare for three children (4-year-old twins and a 7-year-old)
  • Manage household tasks including laundry, dishes, and keeping the home tidy
  • Drive children from school and activities (vehicle provided)
  • Reheat chef-prepared meals as needed
  • Be mindful of one child's allergies and follow the family's guidance accordingly
  • Engage the children in active, outdoor play throughout the year

Requirements

  • Confident, competent, and able to take initiative independently
  • Energetic and comfortable with year-round outdoor activity
  • Reliable driver with a clean record
  • Able to respect household dietary and lifestyle guidelines
