Purpose of the role is to lead the tax compliance and reporting processes within NAM.
Driving the standardization and automation agenda of the compliance process these processes to be able to manage the increasing workload on the compliance team as expectations towards the compliance team, both internally and externally, are gradually increasing.
The role will include responsibility for the preparation and review of all direct and indirect tax returns with the related GL reconciliations, and review and approve transfer pricing adjustments for the scope assigned. The role will also assume responsibility for P10/P12 group reporting within scope, as well as PYA and cash tax reporting and forecasting. The role will report to the Global Tax Process and Governance Director to ensure the accuracy of tax reporting and tax returns.
The role’s primary geographical scope will be NAM; however, it might be instructed to support other regions and territories as well according to business needs. All of its territorial scope is strategically important to Diageo Global Tax and supply material figures to the Diageo Group both from finance and tax perspective.

The role will also be responsible for robust development plan of its direct reports as well as supporting the succession planning of Global Tax Function.
