Nord Anglia International School Dublin is an IB school for students aged 3 to 18, where small classes, personalised learning and a distinctive pastoral model mean every student is known well. Our colleagues come from nearly 50 countries, and together we have built a warm, close-knit international community in the heart of south Dublin.
As part of Nord Anglia Education’s family of more than 80 schools, our students learn through collaborations with MIT, The Juilliard School, UNICEF and King’s College London, alongside regular trips and projects across Ireland and the wider region.
As Head of Secondary, you will lead our Secondary School through the IB Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme, setting the direction for teaching, learning and student wellbeing across both. You will sit on the Senior Leadership Team, report to the Principal and lead a team of middle leaders, teachers and support staff who know their students well.
This is a role with real reach. You will shape the curriculum, raise the quality of everyday teaching, and be the person families meet when they are deciding whether our school is right for their child. You will also act as Deputy Designated Liaison Person for child protection, so safeguarding sits at the centre of everything you do.

Apply through the Nord Anglia Education careers page with your CV and a covering letter of no more than two pages, telling us what you would bring to our Secondary School. Our Candidate Information Pack has full details of the role, the person we are looking for and the selection process.
We may appoint before the closing date, so early applications are encouraged. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Nord Anglia Education is committed to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation. We are committed to ensuring our recruitment process is fair and accessible to all.
Nord Anglia Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers, National Vetting Bureau (Garda) vetting and international police checks from any country of residence in the last 10 years. As this post involves relevant work with children, the disclosure provisions of the Criminal Justice (Spent Convictions and Certain Disclosures) Act 2016 do not apply. The school operates in line with Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children and the Children First Act 2015.
