
NAF Director
The NAF School of Business Director role is an integral part of the KIPP DC College Prep NAF team, ensuring high-quality, career-focused programming that provides students with real-world learning opportunities, industry-recognized credentials, and meaningful work-based learning experiences in the high-demand sector of Business, Finance, and IT. The starting salary range for this role is $113,839-$125,821. This is a full-time, fully on-site role based at KIPP DC College Prep NAF with an anticipated start date of 7/20/2026.

About the Role
KIPP DC College Preparatory is seeking a passionate and strategic NAF Academy School of Business Director to lead and manage its Business School, in alignment with the NAF model and OSSE CTE model. The KCP NAF School of Business offers 3 tracks:
The NAF Director will also provide instructional coaching and professional development to NAF Academy teachers to ensure the highest quality of teaching and learning in all NAF courses. The NAF Director also serves as a liaison between NAF, KIPP DC, and OSSE’s Industry Engagement Team, ensuring compliance with all CTE requirements and expansion of high-quality work-based learning opportunities.
The NAF Director also works directly with the KIPP DC development team and industry partners to collaboratively create work based learning programming, including but not limited to career fairs, mentorship programs, internships, business luncheons, and more. The NAF Director also works with the College Counseling and KIPP Forward team, to ensure strategic alignment between career readiness and postsecondary opportunities allowing students to take college tours, connect with alumni, and access scholarships. The NAF Director also works directly with students and families, ensuring the correct information and resources are properly disseminated and understood for high student engagement in programming and all offered opportunities.
Location and Type of Work
As a headquarters team that is focused on being responsive to our schools and meeting the needs of our students and families, we approach our work in a way that reflects these priorities. Schools operate in person and our students and families rely on us for in-person support which requires this position to be fully onsite This role is currently required to be onsite or in schools during regular work hours. This is an exemptposition and will report to the Principal at KIPP DC College Prep.
