Job Title: NAEYC Preschool Paraeducators

Location: Mary Morrison Early Childhood Development Center

Applicants: Qualifications: Possess one (1) of the following:

1. Completed two years of college credit (60 credits total); or
2. Hold an associate's (or higher) degree; or
3. Passed the ParaPro/ParaPathways Assessment

AND possess one (1) of the following:

1. A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent or
2. 12 college credits in early childhood education, child

development, elementary education, and/or early childhood special education.

Additional Qualifications:

1. Ability to work with children with multiple needs
2. Capacity to implement lessons written by the Special

Education Teacher

1. Ability to work cooperatively with Administration, Regular

Education Teachers, other assigned Staff, and Parents

1. Flexible, dependable, and responsive to new ideas and direction

Start Date: ASAP

Hourly Rate: $17.94 per hour � Wages in accordance with the CBA for the Groton Paraeducators Chapter CSEA/SEIU Local 2001
