Kairros provides specialised return to work services for a culturally and linguistically diverse range of clients. Through our Kairros Interpreting Service (KIS), we help clients overcome cross-cultural barriers by delivering tailored interpreting solutions that support effective communication, helping to ensure accuracy, understanding, and empowerment throughout the recovery journey.

As a contractor on our KIS panel, you will provide interpreting services for individuals who have sustained psychological or physical workplace injuries. Your work will primarily support medical and healthcare-related conversations, ensuring clear and accurate communication across all parties.

We are currently seeking  NAATI AccreditedInterpreters in the following languages:

  • Lao
  • Hindi
  • Vietnamese
  • Dinka
  • Nepali
  • Khmer
  • Samoan
  • Bosnian
  • Maltese

Opportunities include both tele-interpreting and face-to-face assignments, depending on your location

Qualifications

What you'll bring to the role

  • A current ABN 
  • NAATI Accreditation as an Interpreter in one of the languages above (essential)
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse cultural groups
