This My Day Lead position guides the lifeblood of what we do; our Leads develop and train our staff, help create a warm, engaging, learning environment for clients and promote positive, forward-thinking communication. Our Leads are an important part of our mission. While this job does have a few physical requirements, expect your heart to most of the heavy lifting; this job requires compassion, patience, love, faith, and a warm, exuberant attitude.
This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitate calendar planning meetings.
• Use a person-centered planning process, and individual needs and preferences are the driver of all activities.
• Facilitate the daily activities of the Day Habilitation program. Provide support to staff and support personnel who assist in providing Day Habilitation services.
• Arrange and provide transportation for My Day activities.
• Facilitate community integration experiences to support fuller participation in community life.
• Provide Support Team with input into individual service objectives, teaching procedures, service strategies and program ideas.
• Complete daily documentation that is in compliance with federal and state regulations for Medicaid waiver programs for each client served in the program.
• Ensure Performance Measurement System data for the Day Habilitation program is accurate and up to date. Provide input for the annual performance measurements report for Day Habilitation program.
• Provide client assistance with general duties such as promoting and assisting with grooming and hygiene, restroom usage, hand/face washing, mealtime assistance and supervision, transportation supports and escorting assistance as needed, etc.
• Follow all safety procedures and promote safety measures among the team and clients. Implement emergency drills and complete tracking sheets.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma
• Two years' experience in working with people with developmental disabilities
• Skill in Behavior Management.
• Skills in computer use and word processing.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
• Valid Class C driver’s license required
• Proof of state minimum insurance coverage.
• Clearance from all applicable background checks as required by service standards.
