About the Department/Service
■ Partner Sales Department
Rakuten Mobile is currently focusing particularly on its corporate business, and the Partner Sales Department is responsible for creating and expanding business through partners (MVNOs or sales agencies). Based on Rakuten Mobile's unparalleled and innovative technological infrastructure, we lead the transformation of the telecommunications industry.

■ Partner Sales Section 1
Partner Sales Section 1 works with MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) to acquire corporate lines. MVNOs are telecommunications carriers that combine their own services and sales channels with Rakuten Mobile's services to provide new value to the world.
Therefore, there are as many needs as there are partners, and you will be involved from the planning stage to meet those needs. For those unfamiliar with the telecommunications industry or MVNOs, we provide thorough training, so even those without experience can thrive in this environment.

Position:

■Job Responsibilities

1. Sales Activities
Sales activities emphasize face-to-face interaction, but Web conferences are used as needed. There will also be business trips to various parts of Japan.
1.1 New Sales
You will be responsible for acquiring new customers. You will negotiate with existing MVNOs to become Rakuten Mobile partners. You will also actively propose new    business ventures to companies that are not currently MVNOs.
1.2 Existing Sales
You will promote sales expansion to existing customers. You will hold weekly regular meetings with partners to identify issues and discuss new initiatives, aiming to build and deepen trust.

2. Service Planning
To materialize the various needs unearthed through the sales activities mentioned above, you will be involved in plan design, service planning, and system development. You will check business profitability and future prospects, confirm rules (public relations, marketing, legal, external affairs, etc.), and proceed with development (BA, system development, monitoring, network, etc.) and flow design (order processing, logistics, delivery, etc.), thereby interacting with a wide range of internal departments as well as external customers.

3. Progress Reporting
In addition to regular progress sharing, you will also share various plans. We emphasize communication both within and outside the section.

Working Environment
The sales team consists of about 5-8 members, and workload is adjusted to ensure no single person is overburdened. The entire section has about 20 members.

The team comprises people with a wide range of careers, from experienced veterans to new graduates. While a certain percentage of members come from the telecommunications industry, those with experience in other industries have also integrated well.

Required Skills:
・At least 1 year of professional work experience
・Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint/Excel/Word
・Ability to communicate in Japanese at a business level

Preferred Skills:
・Those who want to work with external connections
・Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
・Some sales experience (telecommunications/IT industry preferred)
・Proactive and agile
