The Department of Medicine is seeking a per diem Music Therapist to support the UCLA 3 Wishes Program by providing compassionate, trauma‑informed music therapy services to families at the end of life. Responsibilities include conducting telehealth bereavement support sessions and creating personalized Heartbeat Legacy Songs for loved ones. The role centers on delivering culturally sensitive interventions that honor patients and support grieving families during and after a patient’s passing.
This position also involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure continuity of care and alignment with program goals. The Music Therapist will document services in accordance with institutional standards and maintain professional certification and ethical practice consistent with MT‑BC requirements. This is a meaningful opportunity to bring comfort, connection, and healing to families during some of their most vulnerable moments.
