Position Summary/Essential Duties:1. Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy (Required) or Member American Music Therapy Association (Preferred) Work Experience
less than 1 year Completed music therapy internship and eligible for MTBC exam (Required) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Demonstrate competence with a variety of musical instruments and skills, i.e., transposition, improvisation, song writing, instrumental/vocal arranging, drumming, and adapting instruments and therapeutic music interventions to a variety of culturally, ethnically, racially diverse, medically, developmentally and physiologically impaired patients. (Required proficiency) Knowledge of research design and methodology, patient assessment and evaluation techniques. (Required proficiency) Strong interest in multi-disciplinary team approach. (Required proficiency) Basic computer knowledge (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications
